Sheetpedia XLSX subset in the BetterOffice corpus

These original workbook bytes are unchanged from the upstream PII-processed release. Upstream describes preprocessing including format standardization, language filtering, and deduplication; its PII processing is retained. Original embedded metadata and notices have been retained. Per-file metadata records the archive member path, content hash, source link, and attribution.

BetterOffice selected a compact subset and up to two visible worksheet ranges per workbook, and generated reference PDF and PNG files with Microsoft Excel. Print area, worksheet visibility, scale, margins, gridlines, headings, headers and footers were configured on temporary read-only copies solely for capture; the published workbooks were not saved or modified. Exact capture settings, Excel version, worksheet indices, ranges, and source hashes are in each metadata.json. BetterOffice's reference renders and dataset selection metadata are offered under CC BY-SA 4.0 as well.

When sharing these assets, credit the authors and source, retain supplied notices, link the license, and indicate changes. Adaptations must be offered under CC BY-SA 4.0 or a permitted compatible license, without additional legal or technical restrictions. No endorsement by the authors or Microsoft is implied. Materials are provided without warranties as described in the license.

This notice applies to the Sheetpedia subset and its reference assets. Other corpus datasets and BetterOffice software retain their own licenses.

Calculation references: expected formula values generated using Microsoft Excel after clearing formula and declared array-result caches and enabling automatic full recalculation in temporary copies. Two full dependency rebuilds must agree. Original source workbooks remain unchanged. These generated references are also offered under CC BY-SA 4.0.
